Our operations manager Franz runs the family winery with great dedication in the third generation and is responsible for all areas, from the vineyard to sales.

With his down-to-earth manner, he ensures that the high quality of our wines is guaranteed every day.

Hans, our senior boss, still works at the winery every day with full commitment. Over 50 years ago, in difficult times and at just 18 years old, he took over the business from his late father.

Since then, he has built the winery with a lot of hard work and passion into one of the largest and most famous in the region.

Annemarie, our senior boss, is the heart of the Mittelbach winery. For over 50 years, she and her husband Hans have built up the business and shaped it with great dedication.

Even today, she is still fully passionate about her work – as an unrivalled cook and still selling her produce directly from the farm.

Philipp is the "Next Gen" at the Mittelbach winery and brings a breath of fresh air to the family business. Despite his ongoing studies, he is already a strong support and is setting trends with his new ideas, which are intended to create awareness of current and future developments in the wine industry.

Ulrike, the sister of our operations manager Franz, is an indispensable support for the winery. Despite her job in a bank, she spares no effort to be on hand during the week evenings or at weekends and to support the winery in every way possible.

Our dog Arko is not only the heart of our family, but also a loyal companion in everyday life at the winery. With his loving nature and infectious zest for life, he is always by our side, brings energy into the day and makes every challenge a little easier.
