2024 vintage

The 2024 grape harvest at the Mittelbach Franz winery has been successfully completed! Despite minimal yield losses due to the frost in spring, we can be pleased with the exceptionally high quality of the grapes. We started harvesting at the end of August and were able to complete the harvest at the end of September - earlier than almost ever before - with our strong Riesling from the Braiten Rain vineyard.

Fortunately, we were largely spared from the heavy rainfall in our region, so we were able to bring in most of the harvest on time. The must is now in the cellar and our cellar masters are doing everything they can to get the best possible results from this great quality of grapes. We can hardly wait to bottle the first Grüner Veltliner young wine 2024 in early November and present this exceptional vintage!
